TIENSVOLD FIRE PROTECTION FIRE SPRINKLER FITTER / APPRENTICE in BILLINGS, Montana
Tiensvold Fire Protection has an opportunity for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Apprentice. The Fire Sprinkler Apprenticeship is a 5-year program which results in the participant earning a nationally recognized credential. Apprentices may complete the program in less time if they have construction experience. Apprentices start at $17.50 per hour and then progress as they gain experience. Currently, a Fitter Foreman earns $35.00 per hour. Qualifications: - No experience needed although construction experience is helpful. - Must be able to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts. - Must be able to travel out of town for extended periods of time. - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. - Driver's License preferred but not required. Duties: - Will lift, move, and install steel and plastic pipe. - Will keep job site materials and tools clean and organized. - Will assist Journeyman as needed. Equal Opportunity Employer.
