Wesco Distribution Truck Driver - CDL in Billings, Montana

Drives truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

Assist in loading the truck for morning deliveries.

Prepare delivery schedule.

Delivers materials at locations designated by customer.

Obtains customer's signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck.

Assist the Branch Operations Manager in assuring proper maintenance is performed.

Perform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveries.

Select materials for shipment.

Restock bins and tables.

Experience:

2 years truck driving experience required

Education:

High School Degree or Equivalent preferred, CDL license required

Skills/Requirements:

Able to work in a team environment.

Detail oriented.

Possesses a valid truck driver license and CDL certification.

Working Environment:

Driver - Work is generally performed in moving vehicle. Driving required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Work is physically strenuous, and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds.

Work may require excessive bending or stooping.

Employee required to sit and drive a vehicle to perform their job.

Employee required to climb ladders.

Employee required to use hand tools.

Employee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.).

Mental Requirements:

Employee required to organize and coordinate schedules.

Employee required to communicate with the public.
