Gallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in the following specialty areas:
Construction Trades Ethics
OSHA 10 Safety Training For Construction Trades
Introduction to HVAC
Trade Tools And Test Equipment
EPA 608 Certification
Blueprint Reading And Wiring Schematics
HVAC Installation And Sheet Metal Fabrication
Welding, Brazing And Pipe Joining
Electric Meters and Motors
Central AC and Indoor Air Quality
Gas-Fired Furnaces and Boilers
Commercial AC and Refrigeration
Commercial Heating and Burners
Energy and Sustainability
Advanced HVAC Controls
Technical Mathematics – for Plumbers
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Understand industry standards and best practices as well as college rules and regulations. Communicate well with all types of learners at different levels of expertise.
Recognize safety hazards and unsafe operation of tools or equipment and be able to instruct students in proper use.
Maintain and inventory any applicable equipment utilized in the classroom or lab settings; Inventory consumables and prepare reorder lists for restocking.
Maintain an organized and clean learning environment.
Provide and/or locate emergency medical assistance when needed.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Three years of experience in related field
AAS or similar degree in related field
Have the ability to demonstrate construction trades technique(s) to students whom may possess a variety of skill and talent
Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse groups of learners within and outside of a department
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Five or more years of experience in the field that topic of instruction relates to
Bachelor degree in related field
Industry standard professional certification(s)
Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity
Prior teaching experience
Understanding of the two-year college mission

In the Construction Trades program, students acquire the skills necessary for entry-level occupations in construction or HVAC -R. Also under this Division Gallatin College is offering support course for the Plumbing and Electrical apprenticeship programs already established in the area.
