Easton Companies Pump Truck Operator in Bozeman, Montana

PLEASE NOTE: We are a drug free workplace. All team members are subject to a pre-employment drug screening. Job Summary:As the Pump Operator, you will manage each job with expertise and care. Always adhere to our standards in work performed and relations with our clients. You are responsible for maintaining constant communication with the Pump manager and crews to achieve an integrated team approach, giving our customers best class product and service. As the Pump Operator you are in responsible for maintaining a properly organized job from start to finish. You will ensure the maintenance of equipment is performed on a prescribed schedule basis and all maintenance/repair needs are communicated promptly to the Shop Coordinator.This role does require having a CDL B.Role and Responsibilities: The Pump Operator’s main purpose is to use pumps to pour ready-mix concrete on construction sites. Typical duties for this job include maintaining tools, driving trucks, assembling concrete pumps, and collaborating with other workers. Must demonstrate stamina dexterity, physical strength, good driving skills and teamwork.Operation of pump truck and associated equipmentOperation of concrete pump to direct flow to appropriate areasMonitor all hose and pump connections to check for safety and quality control.Coordinate product movement activities with other workers to ensure continuous flow of product.Record operating data, such as products and quantities pumped, storage tank used, gauge readings and operating time.Comply with strict safety standards issued by multiple regulatory agencies and procedural documentation.Operate aerial concrete boom on commercial and residential projects.Perform preventative maintenanceComplete timesheet and job sheet documentationUse excellent quality of workmanship at all timesComply with contract and Easton Companies Safety, Quality, Traffic Management, and environmental systems at all timesMaintain excellent relationships with clients in order to improve current contract performance and maximize the possibility of securing future profitable workRequirements :Valid Driver’s LicenseEducation: High school diploma or GED (minimum). Certification from vocational school or completion of apprenticeship a plus.Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience within the road construction industry. Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience operating a concrete pump truckSkills, Knowledge & Abilities:Knowledge of heavy equipment.Understanding of computerized controls and electronics.Ability to work unsupervisedCandidate must have manual dexterity and attention to detail.Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.Very good physical strength and stamina, able to lift up to 70 lbs.Ability to follow established procedures and practicesA strong commitment to all health and safety guidelinesWorking ConditionsOutdoors. Overtime as required. Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 70 LBS on a regular basis. Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required.
