We are seeking a HHS Solutions Specialist to develop proposal responses and create tailored solutions for complex RFP requests in the Medicaid, Medicare, Child Welfare, and/or Child Support areas. This position will be full-time and remote.
What You’ll Do
Lead the review process for RFPs to determine suitability and strategic fit for the division's objectives and capabilities
Oversee the full lifecycle of proposal development, from initial assessment to submission, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and alignment with client needs
Build and maintain a pipeline of future opportunities by identifying potential RFPs and strategic partnerships, fostering long-term business growth
Work closely with our in-house proposal development center and proposal managers to devise comprehensive solutions for RFP responses, prioritizing innovation and client value
Utilize in-depth industry knowledge to conduct analyses and research to inform strategies for solution development
Work within proposal timelines, manage deliverables, and ensure adherence to marketing standards for all submissions
Stay abreast of current trends, regulations, and advancements within the transportation and tolling services sector to inform solutions
Offer expertise in the creation of technical and strategic solutions, optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness
Engage with clients and partners to present solutions and articulate the benefits and value proposition of proposals
Embed a culture of continuous improvement by integrating feedback and past performance into future proposal strategies
What You'll Need
Required:
At least 5 years of experience in the health and human services industry, with a focus on solutions development and proposal management
Project Management experience or familiarity with PMBOK and/or PMP
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Communications, or Technical Writing
Demonstrated ability to manage complex proposal projects and meet critical deadlines
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying intricate solutions in a clear manner
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other pertinent technologies
Knowledgeable about the latest trends and methodologies in solution development
A strong ethical framework and commitment to compliance and industry standards
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
