Job Description
We are looking for a Project Billing Specialist to provide accounting support to workers, administrators, and managers throughout various areas of the company. This individual will interact with Executive Management, Service Delivery, and Account Managers on a regular basis and will manage day-to-day financial activity for assigned customer accounts defined by Corporate Finance processes and procedures. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do
Contract Review & Compliance: Thoroughly review project contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Project Setup within Corporate Financial System: Utilize knowledge of various project types such as Time & Materials, Subscription, and Milestone/Deliverable. Manage project resourcing, and set up contracts and billing/revenue schedules.
Manage and Monitor Time Entry: Oversee the time entry of workers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Customer Invoicing: Generate, review, approve, and distribute customer invoices promptly and accurately.
Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable invoices and resolve any discrepancies related to time entry and invoicing.
Software Proficiency: Utilize Workday, Excel, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and other accounting-driven software proficiently.
Adhoc Reporting: Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports as needed.
What You'll Need
Required:
Billing & Invoicing Experience: Proven experience with billing, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
MS Office Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
Contract Exposure: Experience reviewing contracts, understanding terms and conditions, and verifying contract details.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills to effectively manage client relationships and address inquiries.
Administrative and Accounting Tasks: Competent in handling general administrative and accounting tasks efficiently.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
