Apprentice Laborer Must be accepted into the Laborers Apprenticeship program. Thru application and Interview process. High school diploma or GEDPerfer 1 year construction exp. preferredor the ability to learn on the job through on-the-job training.Some of the duties include: Learning the installation of water and sewer lines.Load and unload materials Clean grounds around pipelines and or dig holes, drainage holes using a shovel, pick. Padding the pipe, backfilling.Must be able to work in all weather conditions.Ability to follow a firm work schedule directed by supervisor.Ability to follow instructions orally or in written form and perform tasks with little or no supervision. Keep track of apprenticeship hours and report monthly to apprenticeship coordinator.Must pass pre job drug test. JOB COULD START EARLIER THAN 12/16/24 if you are able and are accepted into the Apprenticeship.
